November 2020 Bulletin

Next Meeting: Friday, November 13th, 2020

Union Meeting will begin at 7pm. Social Distancing and proper Covid-19 protocols will be in place. Remember to wear a mask!

PAC Fund Vote

There was a decision from the membership, at the October Meeting, to adopt a PAC Fund into our Collective Bargaining Agreement. Therefore, at the November 13th Meeting there will be a Secret Ballot Vote on whether or not to adopt the PAC Fund of $.13 per hour into our Agreement.

2021 Contract Wage Allocation

On January 1st, 2021, will begin the last year of our Negotiated Contract. Therefore, we will need to vote on where to allocate the $2.00 increase for 2021. Due to the 2% Pension increase, as part of the Pension Recovery Plan, We we actually be allocating $1.63 into our wage package. At the November 13th Meeting 3 possible scenarios will be decided on and a vote will take place in December.

Christmas Party Cancelled

The membership unanimously decided to cancel the Retiree Christmas Party on December 11th, Due to Covid-19. We will look forward to a future date to honor our retirees and award service pins.

Common Arc Updating

We will hold a Common Arc Updating Day at the Hall on November 10th, 2020. It will be between the hours of 8am-1pm, for any member who was unable to get their welding certifications updated while working. You must call the office to set up an appointment, as social distancing Protocol will be in place.

Toys for Tots

We will be holding our Annual Toys for Tots Drop -Off Program. The end date is December 11th. Please bring an unwrapped gift to the Union Hall to help those less fortunate enjoy the Holidays.
